New Information Governance rules come into force on the 25th May 2018.  These are known as General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR for short.  Please see the section 'Sharing your Information' for our privacy statement and other information. 

We are working to improve access to appointments for our patients, in particular at evenings and weekends.  If you would like to be offered one of these appointments please ask.  These appointments may be at a different site for example in Weymouth.

Walk in and Wait surgeries are available every weekday morning from 8.30 to 10.30. (Please note, these surgeries are only held at our Easton branch.)  No need to book, however these appointments are for on the day acute care only and not available for on-going conditions or for test results.  You may be asked to rebook if appointment inappropriate for walk in and wait clinics.

WASTED APPOINTMENTS! WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Here at Royal Manor Health Care we try very hard to meet the needs of all our Patients, but we need your help to do this. You can help us by cancelling unwanted appointments as soon as possible. Every month we have a large number of appointments that get wasted due to missed appointments. We now have a dedicated email for your convenience.  Email:  cancel.myappointment@gp-j81009.nhs.uk  

If you don't need the appointment another patient can make use of it!

SAVE TIME-DO IT ONLINE!

GP online services gives patients the option to book appointments, request repeat prescriptions and view their GP records, using their computer, tablet or smartphone rather than having to phone or visit the practice.

Online services complement the existing ways patients can access appointments, prescriptions and their records.  Our practice already has the facility to offer online access.  If you are not already registered for GP online services please let a member of the practice team know that you would like to use this service, you can download the necessary forms here too.

Using our on-line services are easy, just come into the surgery with some photo identification to get a personalized log-in and password.  So just ask one of our receptionists to set this up for you - they will be happy to help.

When you have your unique log-in information, please click on the 'Appointments/Repeat Prescription' tab of our web-site home page and follow the links.

Electronic Prescribing Service

This means that, in most cases, instead of printed prescriptions, we are now able to send them electronically to the various Pharmacies.  If you would like to take advantage of this service, please speak to one of the Receptionists who will be able to advise you further.

It is a contractual requirement for GPs as imposed by the NHS that by the end of March 2016 every patient must have a named GP. Please ask at reception if you are unsure.
